2009 NMRT Spring Meeting

You are invited to the NMRT Spring Meeting at the Seward Memorial Library, Thursday, March 12th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The program will include presentations by Becky Baker, Becky Reisinger and Megan Boggs of the Seward Memorial Library, concerning their recent implementation of a category based classification system and the Leading to Reading program.

These presentations will be of interest to both public and academic librarians as they are an example of thinking “outside the box” in terms of serving more library users.

This is also an excellent opportunity for networking with fellow NLA members. NLA President Pam Bohmfalk and President Elect Scott Childers are scheduled to attend.

Last, but not least, there is a really cool door prize: a Nikon CoolPix Camera. Participants registered by March 8th are eligible for the DOOR PRIZE.

Cost is only $10 for students, $15 for NMRT members, and $18 for NLA/Non-NMRT members. Your registration fee also includes lunch and a chance at the camera. Registration form can be found on the NMRT web site.
