Technically Speaking as a blog

At the Business Meeting at NLA, I raised the idea of changing our newsletter, Technically Speaking, from being a paper newsletter to using our website. This blog is part of how we hope to use the TSRT website. The TSRT officers & appointed positions (like newsletter editors) can all post to this blog. So hopefully you'll be hearing from all of us at various times. We encourage TSRT members (and others) to comment.

We also hope to have articles like we did in Technically Speaking but not at regular intervals or all at one time. So we'll still be out there, soliciting others to write. And if you have something you want to share with your colleagues at TSRT, please feel free to let one of us know. We want this to be your TSRT online community.

  • I assume this is still in testing form? Will the bylaws be changed to remove the print requirement? I think point came up in the Fall meeting.

  • There are some other by-laws changes that need to happen as well, so we will have to work on that. But, yes, Ben as I recall you are right in that we would need to change the by-laws and it was discussed at the Fall meeting
