Distinguished Service Awards
Deadline: Monday, October 1, 2008
Criteria:
- Service to academic librarianship within the last five years.
- Active participation in the section at the time of the award.
- Present or potential service to NLA/ACRL/ALA.
Nominations should be accompanied by a letter of support detailing the candidate's qualifications. The award is presented at the business meeting at the NLA fall convention.

C & U's 2007 Distinguished Service Award Winner
Jan Boyer is this year's recipient of the College & University Section's Distinguished Service Award. She was recognized for her service to multiple units of the Nebraska Library Association and her recent work at Chair of the Nebraska State Advisory Council on Libraries.
