NLAQ Names and Addresses
Hello, Everyone!
While I was vacationing in the Black Hills, you were all receiving your NLAQ
magazines with the wrong names and the correct addresses. There was a
sorting problem after the spreadsheet was sent to the printer. Your
MemberClicks Records are still correct. The printer has assured John that
this will not happen again.
Thanks to those who who sent me an e-mail or letter notifying me of the
error on your mailing label. You can just keep the magazine you received.
Please, don't send the magazine to me. If you did not receive an NLAQ or
did not receive enough copies, please let me know. (e-mail katet323@msn.com
or phone 308-532-2580)
Thanks!

Hello, everyone. It appears there was a problem with the most recent NLAQ. If you’ve received your issue with the correct address and an incorrect name, consider it yours anyway! I’m not quite sure what happened, but numerous members have reported this problem. Once there’s an answer, I’ll be sure to pass it on. But in the meantime, enjoy the issue(s) that arrived at your address.

Winter NLAQ articles
The NLA Publications committee has decided that the theme of the Winter, 2007 issue will be on Public Service. This would include, but not be limited to, such subtopics as customer service, electronic vs. print resources, roving reference, and virtual reference. There are no restrictions (within good reason) on the length of the article. Photos are welcome. See a recent NLAQ or the NLA webpage for “protocols” or guidelines about articles. Articles should be submitted to me electronically as a Word attachment to my email address: jbernardi@omahapubliclibrary.org
The official deadline for submission of articles is October 31. However, I am being somewhat flexible. This email is going out late, and the conference is coming up next week. If you could submit your articles by November 9, this would be acceptable. If you have any questions, email me or call me at (402) 444-4849.

A Reminder about the NLAQ
You are always welcome to submit articles to be published in the
Nebraska Library Association Quarterly (NLAQ). The Publications
Committee welcomes quality articles about Nebraska libraries, current
library issues, or Nebraska library news items. Contact John Bernardi
at jbernardi@omahapubliclibrary.org for further information or to submit
articles. John can be reached at (402) 444-4849.
The upcoming summer issue will be an important architectural issue.
We will be publishing articles about recent or upcoming library building
projects throughout the state. Photos are welcome. This is an
opportunity for you to tell us about your new project!
Feature NLAQ articles also are posted on the website. They are also indexed in the Wilson Omnifile
database.
